Bland Walkway along Flagler Drive

Hello

Does anyone know if the city has plans to complete the work along Flagler drive? Before the work began I saw all these beautiful images of what it would be like, it isn't quite there.

I am referring the the stretch that was just recently worked on from Lake View down past Fire Rock Pizza.

Also I had seen pictures of work to be done by the Library where they were to create some beachy area, have you heard anything about this?

Ahhh, yes. There seems to be big plans in the future. Just this past week, a plan was passed by the West Palm Beach city commissioners for a marina overhaul. Included in the overhaul are expanded docks, restaurants and a boutique hotel which will be either 5 or 6 stories. We're hearing that the entire waterfront in this area will be redeveloped and it is our understanding Joan Goldberg from the City of West Palm Beach is heading this project. The downtown West Palm Beach Library will move to new location, which will be across the street from the Palm Beach County Courthouse. Construction is already underway and the move-in date for the library is -tentatively - January 2009. ;)
