Is there free live music at CityPlace? If so, when is it?

Yes! There is live entertainment at CityPlace! CityJams Friday Night and CityPlace Saturday Nights - Live Entertainment on CityPlace Plaza. You can hear some great music from 7pm until 11pm. It's FREE and word is that the entertainment lineup includes some of South Florida's best musicians.:D

City Place is your place for family and community events, fashion shows, educational exhibits and exciting goods and services. As we move forward in increasing shopping opportunities at the mall, we will continue to bring quality community activities to the mall.

Hello
City Place, which opened in October 2000, is a city with-in a city. Although it is located in the heart of downtown Palm Beach County, one gets the feeling that they are visiting a quaint European city. City Place?s grand opening last fall was one of the year?s most anticipated events in South Florida. Since then it has become the hot spot of Palm Beach County. High-end retail shopping and revolutionary restaurants and cafes fill this unique 55-acre space. A 20 screen high-tech movie theater and live performances provide additional entertainment. Not only do people play at City Place; they work and live there as well. Beautiful residential and office spaces are available to those who want to inhabit this exciting atmosphere daily.
Thanks
Claire

We'll be visiting during the Christmas holidays - anything special going on at CityPlace during that time?

There's a HUGE beautiful tree in the Plaza. The past couple of years, it "snowed" several times a night during the weeks leading up to Christmas and New Year's...yes, you read that right..."snow" (personally, I don't think it's real, but keep it hush-hush ;) ). Everyone would gather at the Plaza by the fountain, and flakes would start blowing...it was fun!
I don't know if it will be snowing this year, and the CityPlace website calendar hasn't yet posted any special events. There are bands playing on certain days during the week which is usual throughout the year.
I'll try to remember to check if anything special is happening. I don't recall any big events taking place but you never know what may be planned. Maybe someone has heard something because I'd be interested as well.
Hope you have a great time during the holidays!
