$11.5M Mansion Sale Breaks West Palm Beach Real Estate Record

The $11.5 million sale of a mansion has set a new record for the sale of a single-family home in West Palm Beach.

The 9,364-square-foot residence, located at 2914 Washington Road, easily shattered the record set only last year, more than doubling the $5.02 million sale of 5615 South Flagler Drive.

The newly built mansion has seven fireplaces, six bedrooms, an elevator, a library, wine vault, and two-story living room. The developer, Aquantis Group, completed construction of the house in September 2018.

The buyer was Barbara Seymon-Hirsch, trustee of the Edgewater Trust. The listing agents were Ashley McIntosh and Burt Minkoff of Douglas Elliman.

According to Zillow, the median home value in West Palm Beach is $237,600. West Palm Beach home values have gone up 5.7% over the past year.
