Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Sunshine Bass and Largemouth Bass.
Inlet: Snook, Black Drum, Sheepshead (4 lb caught Palm Beach Inlet 01/30/21), Croakers, Snappers, and Redfish.
Offshore: Cobia, King Mackerel and Sailfish.

February
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Sunshine Bass, Clown Knife and Largemouth Bass.
Inlet: Similar to January.
Offshore: Wahoo and Sailfish.

March
Freshwater: Excellent month. Peacock Bass, Sunshine Bass, Clown Knife, Bluegill and Largemouth Bass.
This month the mullet run north along the beach with large fish such as Giant Tarpon, Snook and Jacks chasing after them. March also coincides with the beginning of Spinner Shark migration. Offshore: Sailfish, Cobia and King Mackerel.

April
Freshwater: Same as March.
Similar to March. Spinner Shark migration is full speed ahead. Beginning of season for huge Blue Marlin (until October).

May
Freshwater: Peacock Bass (high season) and Largemouth Bass.
Inlet: Snook and Jacks.
Offshore: African Pompano, Blackfin Tuna and Crevalle Jack (Florida record 57 lbs caught off Jupiter on 05/18/93). Last good month for Sailfish until fall.

June
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Bluegill and Clown Knife.
Inlet: Excellent month for Snook and Tarpon.
Offshore: plenty of Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Mahi Mahi (Florida record 81 lbs. caught off Lantana on 06/09/07) and many others. Only excellent month for White Marlin.

July
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Bluegill and Clown Knife.
Similar to June. Fish in the morning or at night to avoid the heat.

August
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Bluegill and Clown Knife.
Last chance for Giant Snook. Wahoo arrive. Fish in the morning or at night to avoid the heat.

September
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Sunshine Bass, Largemouth Bass and Clown Knife.
This month marks the beginning of the fantastic Silver Mullet migration speeding south along the beaches with every giant fish hot on their heels including Giant Tarpon, Spinner shark, Jacks, and Snook.
Offshore: Wahoo and Sailfish.

October
Freshwater: Peacock Bass (high season), Bluegill, Sunshine Bass, Largemouth Bass (7.1 lb caught in Lake Ida 10/25/17) and Clown Knife.
The Silver Mullet run continues in full force. One of the best months for fishing. Last good month for Blue Marlin.

November
Freshwater: Peacock Bass (high season), Sunshine Bass, Largemouth Bass and Clown Knife.
Inlet: Similar to October. Snook, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Croakers.
Offshore: Blackfin Tuna, Cobia and Wahoo.

December
Freshwater: Peacock Bass, Sunshine Bass, Largemouth Bass and Clown Knife.
Inlet: Sheepshead, Grouper, Snapper, Pompano, African Pompano, Redfish and Permit.
Offshore: Cobia and King Mackerel.
